The N57 35d is one of BMW's finest engines – but it leaves serious performance on the table from the factory. With over 14 years specialising exclusively on the N57 platform, we build every tune completely from the ground up on the dyno. Customers travel from all over the UK to have their car tuned by us.
The Platform
The 3.0-litre straight-six twin-turbo diesel controlled by the Bosch EDC17CP45 ECU paired with the ZF8 automatic transmission. BMW quotes 313bhp and 620Nm – on our 4WD dyno we see factory figures closer to 295–305bhp and 590–610Nm. Having worked exclusively on the N57 platform for over 14 years, we know every map parameter of this engine inside out – which is why customers travel the length of the UK to have their car tuned by us.

ECU Remapping
Every tune is built completely from the ground up on the dyno – never a generic off-the-shelf file. We start with a blank slate on every car and refine through multiple runs until the result is exactly right.
xHP Gearbox Tuning
The ZF8 in the 335d and 435d is already exceptional – but when optimised with xHP software it becomes something entirely different. Faster, sharper, smarter.
The ZF8 handles up to 900Nm with ease, making it the perfect partner for Stage 1 and Stage 2 engine tuning. Adding xHP Stage 3 alongside a Stage 1 tune pushes torque to 770–780Nm.

Dyno Tuning & Safety
All BMW xDrive vehicles are tuned on our mechanically linked 4WD rolling road – the only safe way to tune an all-wheel drive vehicle with real accuracy. Every tune is built completely from the ground up, not a generic file loaded onto your ECU.
Unlike non-linked dynos which can damage the transfer box or give false torque readings, our dyno provides accurate real-world data. We start with a blank slate on every car – building the calibration from scratch through multiple dyno runs until the result is exactly right. 14 years on the N57 means we know exactly what this engine needs.
